Join award-winning actor, musician, puppeteer, clown and magician, Katie Tranter for a deep and supportive dive into the languages of mime and clown.
Explore how these worlds can merge to enhance our performance skills, creating playful, precise and joyful work with a true awareness of the what the audience wants and needs from us. The workshop covers a broad range of materials and techniques to help you hone your expressive movement and clowning skills including:
Who's this for?
It is for clowns, improvisers, circus artists, physical performers, dancers, musicians, visual artists, street performers and the curious. All exercises will be tailored to the participants' needs and everyone will have to opportunity to work both individually and in groups with allocated time for reflection and feedback.
